WHAT'S THE BEST ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE FOR AN UPCOMING BARBER?

The best advice I can give is to always keep going, keep cutting, keep pushing yourself to be the best you can, you will get noticed. Let your work speak for you, not your mouth. Most importantly, if your work doesn’t come out as you want, don’t get discouraged because with more repetition you will get better. Trust YOUR process nobody else’s.

WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU WANTED TO BECOME A BARBER?

When I started school pursuing a degree, I felt as if I was just following the norm that everyone else was following. I knew I wanted to do something unique and original. I then discovered my passion for barbering and used it as my outlet.

One of my biggest challenges was earning my barber license throughout the pandemic. With schools shutting down and my graduation date pushed back, I adapted by cutting hair full-time in my garage. Despite the doubts and financial struggles, my passion for barbering kept me going. The unwavering support of my family and the trust of my clients were crucial during this time. Their encouragement and belief in my skills motivated me to continue, allowing me to bring their desired haircut styles to life. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today.
